Jaume Tardiu Cortada
Girona, 1977

Music started to be part of his life during his childhood. When he was eight years old he began Elementary Grade and Intermediate Grade studies at the Conservatori de Música Isaac Albéniz in Girona. He continued with Higher Grade studies at the Conservatori Municipal de Música de Barcelona while he was studying for a degree in Philosophy at the University of Girona.

His concern leads him to study modern music at the School of Modern Music in Girona and to attend piano classes with Nito Figueras, a jazz pianist and arranger.

With great interest in sound, he attends courses to become a Technician in Sound and Music Production Master at the school MicroFusa in Barcelona, and he also devotes himself to the research, rather in a self-teaching way, of the synthesis in electronic instruments and the procedures in electronic music.

His enthusiasm for composition leads him to studying Composition at the Isaac Albéniz Conservatory in Girona and taking part in composition seminaries in the Taller de Músics in Barcelona.
